Wade, Connell Stop Over Here En Route to Derby SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111.. May 1. — Horace Wade, racing secretary at Hazel I Park and publicity director at Monmouth and Gulfstream Parks, arrived here today from New Jersey, where he inspected the Monmouth plant which he reports in good condition. Wade was joined here by Richard A. Connell, president of Hazel Park, and the two will leave here Thursday eve- | ning for Louisville, where on Saturday they will witness the running of the Kentucky i Derby. While in Kentucky, Wade will confer with Monmouths general manager. Edward Brennan, relative to plans for the 46-day meeting opening June 16.
