Next Move Works Out Mile In 1:41% at Belmont Park JAMAICA, L. I., N. Y., May 1.— A. G. Vanderbilts Next Move received what was probably her final extended workout in preparation for Saturdays engagement in the Firenze Handicap when she was sent a mile this morning at Belmont Park. Next Move, the highweight among the 31 nominations under 126 pounds, turned in a very impressive trial over the training strip, being clocked the distance in 1:41%. Hal Price Headleys Lithe, also a candidate for the Firenze, which will be decided at one and an eighth miles and is styled for fillies and mares, was given a tightener over the main course this morning. Lithe, who has been assigned 117 pounds and is next in order to Next Move, went six furlongs in handy fashion, touring the distance in 1:1435. One of the more impressive works recorded during the training period at the Elmont course at a shorter distance was that of Stunts, who reeled off a half-mile in :46%. The good stakes winner began the spin from the starting gate.
