Eikridge Training Splendidly DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., May 17. — Kent Miller, the Camden, S. C, owner and trainer of Eikridge, world champion money-winning steeplechaser, reports that his 13-year-old "iron horse" is training splendidly for his 1951 campaign. Eikridge, now at Belmont Park pointing for the Meadow Brook Chase of June 14, will be vanned to Delaware Park following the Belmont meeting. At Delaware, the famous gelding will again perform in the Georgetown and Indian River Chase Handicap. He won the Indian River five times for a world record — no other horseeyer captured one stake that many times— in 1942, 45, 48, 49 and 50. Eikridge also won the last two renewals of the Georgetown.
