Kramer Impresses Stengel In Workout With Yanks NEW YORK, N. Y., May 17 UP. — Pitcher Jack Kramer, released yesterday by the New York Giants, worked out with the New York Yankees today and apparently impressed manager Casey Stengel. After looking over the 31-year-old righthander in practice, Stengel said he would give him. a further trial. If Kramer continues to impress, he will be signed to a Yankee contract. As a 10-year man in the major lesgues, Kramer is a free agent. He won three games and lost six for the Giants last season.
