ALBULIL raced In nearest pursuit of the early leader to the stretch, took command inside the final furlong, then gamely withstood KAPINISCA. The .latter came out for the drive and under pressure was rapidly overtaking the top one. BLITZEN LADY raced evenly from the three-furlong marker to the stands without mishap. SHAFFIE gave way suddenly inside the stretch. FLORAL TRAIL lacked a rally. SULTANPEPPER saved ground to no avail. DEE ED began tardily and lost all chance. JOHNS DATE, forced to take up on the far turn, failed to recover. OISEAU showed nothing. The latter held sway until well inside the stretch, weakened when placed to punishment and could not withstand the winner. CHICKS DELIGHT failed to respond when called upon for her best effort. ROYAL LUCK closed a gap. KENDOR was forced to take the overland route when making his belated bid. RANAHEAD tired. VICTORY BLUE was unable to keep up. INFINITY K. was through after a half mile. VISCOUNT GINO and PLUCKY PRINCE were always outrun. GARRETT C, forwardly placed throughout, finished willingly between horses. GRAND ISLE, in Close quarters on the far turn, failed to make up appreciable ground when clear. TRARAB came between horses for the drive, but was not good enough. BOLD KNOT -was much used early and had little left. ICANC was outrun. MOMBASA was never dangerous.
