Schapiro Hosts Executives PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 17. — John D. Schapiro, president of Laurel race course and also a director of the Maryland Jockey Club, is entertaining a number of important shipping and railway executives for a few days, the group having converged ori Baltimore for the opening of a new pier. Guests of Schapiro included George Callahan of Pickans Mathers; Harold Gobells of Cleveland Cliffs; H. McQuilkin, purchasing agent of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, and Henry Vogel, identified with the railroad equipment business.
