Brick Heads Seven-Horse Field in Sagamore Purse Oakhurst Farm Runner to Engage Crystal Pass, War Token, Outland SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 19.— Seven better-than-average platers are slated to vie in tomorrows featured Sagamore Purse at Suffolk Downs. Oakhurst Farms Brick heads the field to meet for the ,000 prize offered in the mile and a sixteenth test. The event is styled for four-year-olds ,and older with the weights decided under allowance conditions. Four of the potential starters, Brick, Crystal Pass, War Token, and Outland, are slated to carry no pounds, while Grand Demand gets in with 108, Futuresque, 107, and Visional is the lightweight at 100 pounds. Although only one of the group in the Sagamore has won here this year, most have been close up and appear ready for brackets. Brick appeared in a sprint against Spats and Bold Bolo in his seasonal debut and turned in a good effort to finish third. Last Saturday, the Greentree Stables cast-off flattened out after showing speed against such performers as Tio Giro, Whirling Bat, Abstract and Larry Ellis. His opposition tomorrow does not include that type of thoroughbred and the task should be much easier. Crystal Pass was impressive in his local bow a week ago. In that race, the son of Pass Out finished second to Black Bay. Slight improvement expected off that effort would give the Dupuy gelding a high rating in the Sagamore field. Outland has been meeting better than he encounters tomorrow and the slight drop in class may be what this son of Bahram needs. The same holds true of Grand Demand. That son of Grand Slam recently received a sharpener in a sprint won "by Charleston, who came back off that race to account for the Plymouth Rock Handicap. Visional was a winner of her last start over the local oval and the light impost of 100 pounds will not hinder her chances to-morrow. The daughter of Alsab defeated Balmoral and Futuresque in her nine furlong triumph, taking the lead at the start and holding on gamely throughout. Her task tomorrow may prove more difficult, but she can not be held too lightly. Claimed for ,500 at Gulfstream Park earlier in the spring, the five-year-old mare has shown steady progress under the training of Harold Tinker and tomorrow is the sternest test she has been asked to handle..
