Among the top events for older horses, a climax will be reached on closing day, July 26, with the 60,000 Arlington Handicap, the winner receiving well over 00,000. A total of 27 stakes races, ranging in value from 5,000 to 70,000 the Washington Park Handicap on Labor Day, will be run during the coordinated meeting.
