Sub Fleet, of course, is being pointed principally for the Classic at this track, and the American Derby at Washington Park. Palatine Stables speedy Woodchuck, who is expected to see action in all stakes from six furlongs to one mile, for which he eligible, came in from New Jersey. He was accompanied by the turf course specialist, Chicle II. The locally-owned Ada L. Rice stable, 23 strong, also arrived in the eastern shipment, and was placed in quarters by trainer Howard Hoffman.
