Harridge, Veeck Confer On Marions Suspenion President Will Harridge of the American League and Bill Veeck, president of the St. Louis Browns met yesterday pt the request of the Brownie boss who protested the indefinite suspension of the Browns manager Marty Marion. A spokesman for the American League confirmed that Harridge met with both Veck and Marion but refused to give any details of the conference. He indicated the league office would release a statement concerning the meeting later.
