Tie latter worked his way up on the outside, losing ground on the turns and just missed. GOOD EGG set the pace until the stretch and weakened. MR. FLARES, sluggish in the early stages, closed with good energy. GABY H. finished stoutly along the inside. DOIT EASY tired. EASY SPELL had no mishap. BOUNCINB BABY showed nothing. BEMMY was outrun. ROSES ACE broke alertly, dropped back and was steadied to the final quarter mile, moved readily when set down and was along to outfinish MISS CO LEY. The latter raced with the pace and saved ground, getting the lead near the end, but was not good enough. ELSAS PAL slipped through along the inside to engage for command and faltered. DADS DEGREE was never far off the pace and weakened at the end. MICKEY FOSTER tired. HERMAN L. was unable to reach the leaders with a late rush. DARE DEVIL lacked early speed. OXLIN tired. SMART BETTOR flashed brief speed and quit. FIGHTING TONY was outrun. THANATOPSIS was never prominent. EQUIDOE was caught in close quarters near the quarter pole and taken up sharply. CELLINI, taken back of the pace and reserved until the final quarter mile, came through along the inside, was under strong pressure and drew clear near the end. FLEET OF FOOT saved ground to assume the lead soon after the start, was under steadying restraint to the stretch, raced very greenly when challenged, but was best of the others. FLASHY failed to respond through the final furlong. FLIGHT PATROL was going well at the end. DICTIONLESS, under strong restraint to the final quarter mile, was unable to make up appreciable ground. CRACKICE tired from chasing the pace. PALAJE was through after five furlongs. FAZZULA was outrun. Overweight— Dictionless, 2 pounds. PROVIDENT, steadied within striking distance of the pace and saving ground, caught the leader when put to pressure, but was unable to stave off the winners bid. HOT TIME forced the pace throughout, lacking a closing rally. MARINE CHARGER set the pace, increased the lead after seven furlongs and tired. FARM MAID had no mishap PEGASUS II. weakened.
