~ 8 J 9 9 9 11 12 jl 10 q / 8 ■j 7 SPECIAL ALLOWANCE AT DETROIT In all claiming and purse races at this meeting at a distance of a mile or over, the following allowance may be claimed without respect to other allow- ances except maiden allowance, for horses that have never won a race at a mile or over: Three-year-olds allowed 3 pounds; four-year-olds and upward, 5 pounds. Non-winners at one mile or over and maiden races excepted.
