Illinois Notes FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, HI., ., June 19. A. Kara, Sr. purchased Cuddlesome from a S. A. Alexander and is also taking over the e training of Great Issue for C. A. Wood. 1. Terms of the Cuddlesome purchase were e held private. Trainer John Defrancisco shipped the e consistent Desert Ruler to Arlington Park k for an engagement and will return for the e reopening of Fairmount Park on June 27. 7. D. E. Wagner has taken over the training duties for E. Watkins and J. Duross. The e stable consists of Korner Mart, Osan and d Brown Bourbon. Wagner announced that tt the two-year-old Speed Jet has been n shipped to the farm and will not race this is year. Wagner replaces M. D. Graves as is trainer. E. H. Moody stated this morning that he e will ship Mr. Dink to Detroit for the balance - of the summer. He will be trained by W. T. Procter. Owner Frank Gilbert, who races his stable under the nom de course of the Verde e Stock Farm, arrived from Omaha and was .s accompanied by his wife. The Gilberts are e newlyweds. Patrol judge Emil Roehm is spending the te "layover" with his daughter in Milwaukee e and will return in time to take over his is duties for the reopening.
