Jeffords in the New Castle Handi- cap on July 5, this morning was sent a handy six furlongs in l:133/5. Another Jeffords colorbearer, Yildiz, moved seven furlongs in 1:27 handily. Foxcatcher Farms Rose Fern, New Castle Handicap hopeful, was breezed a mile this morning and was timed in 1:42. She was accom- panied by Chello, who completed the trip handily in similar time.
