MURPHY ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, 111., June 19.— Arlington Park is offering a good line-up of races tomorrow for the first Friday of its meeting. The Highland Park Handicap for three-year-olds and upward at six furlongs, is featured and the Kankakee Purse at a like distance for thoroughbreds in a similar age range is 3 the chief supplementary piece. The Highland Park has a purse value of ,000, with i the Kankakee being worth ,500. Heading the field in the Highland Park as far as weight is concerned is Ada L. ■ Rices good four-year-old, Pet Bully, who was unbeaten in three races at Santa Anita ~ last winter, one of which was the 5,-000 Washington Birthday Handicap. The colt was shipped to Jamaica following his g west coast campaign and finished fourth to Woodchuck, Squared Away, and Jumbo Q in the Paumonok Handicap on the opening " day of the New York season. He was moved to third money when Jumbo was disqualified. Back of the Rice racer were such crack sprinters as Northern Star, Delegate, Tea-Maker, Repetoire, and Auditing. _ " Pet Bully, who did not race as a three-year-old, will be ridden by Eddie Ar-caro. General Staff has started four times this season and won two races. He recently defeated Hi Billee, winner of the Laurel Handicap, in the six-furlong Oceanport Handicap at Monmouth Park and prior to that was an easy winner at Delaware Park. The son of Mahmoud started in a dozen stakes last year, but was unable to be better than second, although he won three of the four overnight races in which he competed. Rado Kid, from California, and Royal Mustang from the Sam E. Wilson Stable, will each carry 110 pounds; Andy B. W. will have 109, and Recline, with 105, com- plete the field. Andy B. W. after being unplaced in the Crete Inaugural Handicap at the Lincoln Fields meeting in his-first start of the season, came back to take the Edward J. Flem- ing Memorial by three lengths, and was then third to Ruhe and Seaward in the Narcissus Handicap. Royal Mustang, in his first and only start of the year, was third to Sun David and Dry Run in the slop at the Lincoln Fields session. Rado Kid, after failing to win at Santa Anita, scored in his first start at Jamaica. : Trainer Frank Catrone, of the William Helis Jr., forces, has entered a pair in the Kankakee in Valpam and Roman Fair, while Hasty House Farms will be represented by Roman Bath. Others are Jumbo, The Gink, Aris Mona, and Golden Birch. Roman Fair and Roman Bath are top- weighted with 121 pounds each. Roman Fair won three of his first nine starts this year and was successful in half of his six races last season. Roman Bath was a win- ner at the Lincoln Fields meeting, while Jumbos best was his third in the Paumo-; nok. Jumbo was winner of the Warren Wright Memorial here last season, while Roman Bath took the Crete Handicap last year.
