Samuel Perlman and editor Dan Lyons of Daily Racing Form and The Morning Telegraph deserted New York to spend the day as guests of Delaware Parks president Don Ross and general manager Bryan Field. Mrs. George D. Wideners Adamantine, following an unsuccessful engagement here, has been returned to Erdenheim Farm. James McHughs Jam, a prospect for the Georgetown and Indian River Steeplechase Handicaps, was an arrival from Belmont Park. Mrs. Joseph Walker, who maintains the Rolling Plains Stable, is being kept busy these days escorting prospective yearling buyers to her Unionville, Pa., farm on inspection tours. The Walker yearlings will be sold during the Saratoga yearling vendues. Montpeliers Pintor, who failed miserably when beaten 15 lengths by High Scud in a recent overnight engagement, then was forced to pass up the Kent Stakes, has been sent to the farm for a period of freshening. Craigwood Stables Palatial Appetite has been shipped by trainer Henry Clark to Monmouth Park. It was during the Monmouth meeting last summer that Palatial Appetite moved into prominence with numerous victories while being elevated steadily. He is especially fond of the turf course at the North Jersey course. Mrs. Esther duPont Weirs The Mast, expected to compete in Fridays Georgetown Steeplechase Handicap, was an arrival from Belmont Park, while John Clark "s Quiz Song, who raced here on the week-end program, was returned to the Elmont course. Christiana Stables Enchanted Eve was returned from New York, at which point she competed unsuccessfully in the Gazelle, Stakes. Owner-trainer Joe Rosen was an arrival from Garden State with eight head, including the veteran sprinter Buzfuz, winner of numerous stakes events in his earlier days. Alan T. Clarkes Senator Joe, fourth in the Oceanport Handicap at Monmouth Park on Saturday, was returned to his local quarters over the week-end. J. A. McKennas Glen Heather has again failed to stand training and has been re-r, turned to Maryland farm quarters by trainer Clyde Ponce. . Max Glucks Alls Fair, second behind High Scud in the week-end Kent, and his filly stablemate, Discreet, were returned to Jamaica by trainer J. D. Coleman. King Ranchs Sufie was an arrival from New York and will fulfill her engagement in Saturdays 7,500 Delaware Oaks.
