Fairmount Work Progressing FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, 111., June 19. — General manager Edwin C. Moon J announced yesterday that repair work on the grandstand is ahead of schedule and that the management anticipates no difficulty in reopening on June 27. The meeting will run continuously without layover and will end on September 1 as scheduled. The official roster will remain unchanged during this meeting and a minimum of horses have departed and at the present time there are no stalls available other than those allotted previously.
