HASTY SUN, away sluggishly and outrun to the stretch, was sent to the extreme outside for the drive and, closing fast under punishment, disposed of the leaders in the last seventy yards. BOTHER, sharp factor from the start, held on gamely when set down through the stretch but was unable to withstand the winner. TINTINA assumed command at once, made the pace until nearing the finish, then faltered. HERES ED lacked racing room during the final furlong. VIS PRIDE lacked early foot, was forced to take up sharpiy when caught in close quarters during the stretch run, then could net-threaten the leaders when clear in the last sixteenth. MARY LIKE engaged TINTINA to the stretch, then weakened. NEVER IN DOUBT had a rough trip. FIGHTING JOHN was through early. JEAN THE JOKER, a sharp factor from the beginning, went to the front after three-eighths mile, held a clear lead entering the stretch, then was hard ridden to withstand ROUGH N READY. The latter, away slowly and outrun to the final quarter, finished fast in the middle of the track, but could not overtake the winner. THE FARMER lacked early speed, but closed strongly under urging. SUN IDOL BOY faltered during the last eighth. PHAELATER had no mishap. FLORAL TRAIL began fast, but dropped back immediately after the start. OIDENASAI had a rough trip. CLAY PIGEON failed to stay after showing early speed. STROLLING MOON was never dargerous-. BUCKS FANCY pulled up lame. STROLLING BALL quit after racing well to the stretch. SIR FAY went to the front early, steadily increased the advantage and won without opposition. FRENCH ROCKET gave a good effort, but could not seriously threaten the winner. GRAMPS FOUR, away fast, dropepd back and raced evenly to the stretch, but could not reach the leaders when set down for the drue. TINAJA A. had early foot, but failed to stay. PAULS PICK was outrun. WEEDY was never dangerous. GAY N FRISKY tired after showing early speed. CASSIE F. was outrun. PRINCESS TRACE was racing prominently near the sixteenth pole when she suddenly shied to the outer rail, stumbled and lost her rider. BRAWNER fell when she was unable to avoid hitting the prone TARTAN LASS. The latter dropped dead at the five-sixteenths pole. DOCTOR HEITZ raced by PAPNJAC entering tne stretch and then drew clear, winning with something left. POPNJAC moved up fast after the start, reached the lead between calls after disposing of BUSY APRIL but was unable to stay with the winner, although much the best of the others. SENATOR C. M. failed to rally when set down through the stretch. BUSY APRIL began fast but failed to stay after displaying early speed. H00PS0N tired during the stretch run. TUNE TIME began slowly and raced wide to the stretch. G£NE EPP showed nothing. SLEEK GIRL was never prominent. F0REVTR AGNES had a rough race. LUCKY GUESS could not keep up after beginning alertly. MERRY SWEEPER, steadily worked way forward to the stretch, was taken to the outside for the drive and, closing fast, disposed of KING WILSON in the last strides. The latter was much used racing ODDS ADVANCE into defeat, roughed HALS LINDA when set down in the drive and continued gamely but could not withstand the winner. HALS LINDA raced evenly to the stretch, was roughed by KING WILSON during the drive and faltered when near the finish. TEXAS RAIN lacked early foot but finished fast. ANDY HANDY, on the outside throughout, failedto stay when set down for the drive. ODDS ADVANCE engaged KING WILSON for a half mile, then gave way. HOT CHOCOLATE was outrun. CONVICTED tired after racing forwardly placed to the stretch. SWYNDOR began alertly but dropped out of serious contention immediately after the start. WAR STIM showed nothing. The latter, never far back, reached the lead during the drive but was unable to hold the winner. HOT PENNY was hustled to the front early, made the pace until inside the stretch but faltered when challenged by SUFFKI. LONOKE FLASH could not keep up after showing early speed and had no mishap.
