u e Woodward Purse at Detroit Attracts Henry Forrests Traveler and Fine Art J Badger and Will You Dance* May Give Entry Hard Fight For Top Honors in Sprint Test By DON FAIR Staff Correspondent DETROIT, Mich., June 19.— Traveler and Fine Art, a pair of clever sprinters from the Henry Forrest-trained stable, head a field of nine fleet racers scheduled to clash here tomorrow afternoon in the featured Woodward Purse. Under the conditions of the six-furlong headliner, Fine Art will get in with a 110-pound burden, while his stablemate, Traveler, is to carry 114 pounds, the apprentice allowance having been claimed for the latter member of the Forrest entry. Chuck Burns is slated to handle Fine Art in the Woodward, while youthful but efficient Jerome Heater will be at the reins astride Traveler. While the Forrest duo undoubtedly will come in for a strong share of tote support, several others in the Woodward field could I make it rather rough should any one of them come up with a race to top form. , Saginaw Stables Badger is rated quite dangerous ~ at 108 pounds, while Ralph Lowes improved Will You Dance, 105 pounds, also » holds a royal chance for Woodward major r honors.
