ORSINI held a slight lead when set down for the drive, then held on willingly in a sharp effort. BLENREIGH closed determinedly and was getting to the leaders. BIT 0 HOPE raced evenly through the Tate stages without mishap. CORSICAN was compelled to take the complete overland route when making his belated bid. RIDDLETON quit. STALK had a rough trip. The latter, far back early, came fast when roused and rapidly was wearing down the winner. DEUX-MOULINS was unable to improve his position when hard hustled through the stretch. FIRST WING was unable to keep up. WINDY quit. BEIRUT trailed throughout in a listless performance. Scratched— 89358 Flying Mane, 106; 87997 Billetudo, 111.
