William F. Egan Dies BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., June 15. — William F. Egan, for the past 25 years associated with Max Hirsch as assistant and foreman, died at his Kew Gardens home Saturday night from a heart attack. Eagan for the past 10 years was in ; charge of the horses, including the yearlings at King Ranch in Texas and last month brought up the final draft that are slated to race for the Texan, R. J. Kleberg. He is ! survived by his widow and funeral-cervices will be held Wednesday morning from the Fox Funeral Parlors, Ascan and Metropolitan Avenues, Forest Hills. A requiem mass will be celebrated at the R. C. Church 1 of Our Lady of Lourdes, at 9 oclock.
