Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. SNEAK EASY reserved within striking distance of the pace, rallied when set down to lead inside the final furlong and was hard ridden to hold ISLE OF PEACE safe. The latter, roused early to stay within striking distance of the pace, failed to get going in full stride until straightened away in the drive and was catching the winner. DR. REES moved to engage for command after six furlongs, was not good enough but continued on gamely. • KLIMIE weakened when challenged. BOLOG was unable to keep up. JAMAL weakened. PHARAPOISE drew clear soon after the start, established the pace and held on stubbornly when challenged. SCOUR moved rapidly along the inside, was taken under stout restraint near the quarter pole, moved again when straightened and was pressing at the end. DIBILLANE improved her position gradually, came between horses for the drive but was unable to menace. BLEMISH, close up under stout restraint, failed to respond when roused. DARING MATE had no mishap. RIBBED weakened. CHERRY PRINCE raced wide. CRACKICE retired steadily after a half mile.
