Welch to Do Double Duty RIVER DOWNS, California, Ohio, June 16. — Jack Welch, who has been riding actively in Ohio since 1945, hung up his . tack recently when it became increasingly difficult for him to make riding weight. Welch will make the riding engagements for jockey Colin Knisley, in addition to his assistant trainers duties with his father. Jack plans to race a small string, at Dade Park, which opens August 5.
