Valadium Works Five Furlongs for Top Flight Timed in 1 :02Ys Over Good Track; Tom Fool Breezes Three-Quarters BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., June 15.— Harry LaMontagnes Valadium, who has won her last three starts at Belmont Park, showed that she retains her speed when she skipped five furlongs in 1:02% over a "good" track this morning. The Lovely Night mare is slated to carry 122 pounds in Wednesdays 5,000 Top Flight Handicap at a mile and a sixteenth and will probably be equal topweight with Duntreath Farms Atalanta and Mrs. John W. Hanes Deviikin, in the absence of Joe W. Browns Parading Lady, who is not expected to carry her 126 pounds. Greentree Stables Tom Fool, who has been training steadily since his courageous victory in the Suburban on Memorial Day, again displayed a world of speed this morning when he breezed six. furlongs in 1:13%, under restraint all the way. The big son of Menow is pointing for the seven-furlong Carter Handicap, which is worth 0,000 in added money this year, on June 27.
