Theall Saddling First Starter Since T M Dorset in 7939 7939J J B THEALL trainer of Mel Leavitt has had but one previous Derby starter T M Dorsett seventh in 1939 Theall has been training for the stable of Joe W Brown since 1931 Prior to this association he trained for a considerable time for both his own ownership and other patrons In 1925 he made his first appearance on a recognized track after learning his training profession in the socalled bushes One of the best horses Theall ever trained was Brownie who finished in a threeway dead heat for first place in the Carter Handicap at Aqueduct in 1944 with Bosseut and Wait A Bit
