Bill Taylor to Get 00 For Pinch Hit Home Run By the United Press Reserve outfielder Bill Taylor of the New York Giants will be 00 richer for his pinch hit home run which gave the New York Giants a 1-0, 10-inning victory over Milwaukee Thursday night, manager Leo Durocher said yesterday. "Whe he was up hitting," Durocher said, "they had a big conference on the mound and I said Id give him 00 if he hit one out of the park." "He didnt even know it, "Durocher said, "but everybody on the bench did, and Im going to give it to him. He doesnt want it until we get back from this road trip." Durocher sa.id the ball would not have been a home run in most parks. "It only cleared that fence by about six inches," he said, "and the fence is only about four feet high. It would have hit the wall most any place else."
