Payment Due Tuesday For 1954 Selima Stakes Fall Juvenile Event at Laurel Expected to Gross Over 5,000 LAUREL, Md., June 11. Final nominations to the" Selima Stakes, one of the countrys most treasured two-year-old filly prizes, close at midnight Tuesday, June 15. This annual Laurel Race Course presentation will be offered for the 29th time during the fall meet October 16 through November 3. Two payments already "have been made for the mile and a sixteenth fixture, both drawing a" record number of entries.
