Cajole Sprints to Game, Popular ThistleDown Win Daughter of Revoked Gets Up to Nip Yea Bam by Head in Biddison THISTLEDOWN, North Randall, Ohio, June. 11. Mrs. Mary Hunters heavily backed Cajole scored a game head victory in the Biddison Purse over Samuel C. Dykes Yea Bama who had gained the lead just inside the furlong marker. R. Aiellos Lord North was a fast closing third another two lengths back at the end of the five and one-half furlongs. John Nazareth rode a nice race aboard the winning daughter of Revoked and they reached the wire in 1:06 and paid .60. For the fist time at the meeting the new 2:30 p. m. post time was in operation and a fine crowd of about 5,000 attended the races. The kagering appeared to be improving. The weather was hot and humid. Mrs. Robert CramerXc.nirey Foy gained the lead soon after the start and after the first quarter was in front by a length and a half with Yea Bama in closest pursuit and the ultimate winner third another half length in arrears. Hi Decker was fourth and Pashpie on the outside of horses was fifth. Charley Fon continued to lead around the final bend and into the stretch being in front by a half length with a furlong to reace. Yea Bama was closing in while in the middle of the strip and Cajole was still third while between the two. Just inside the eighth pole Yea Bama assumed control and Cajole running on the inside of the Dykes colorbearer moved into second position with Charley Foy now a tiring third. Lord North was moving from the middle of the pack, but had a long way to go. Cajole responded gamely to Nazareths urging in the final 70 yards and running one of the gamest races of her career was up in the final strides to nip Yea Bama and pull down the winners share of the ,200 purse. Lord North outfinished the tiring Charley Foy for third place.
