Breeders Sales Company Catalogues 373 Yearlings Total Represents Increase of 42 Over 53 for July 26-28 Auctions LEXINGTON, Ky., June 11. General manager William S. Evans announced today that 363 yearlings will be catalogued for the Breeders . Sales Companys 1954 Summer Sales at Keeneland, July 26-28. This number represents an increase of 42 horses over the number catalogued for I last summers auction. The 363 yearlings include 206 colts and 157 fillies. There will be five selling sessions during the three-day vendue. Afternoon and evening sessions have been scheduled for the first two days, with the auctions ending-on the afternoon of July 28. Afternoon sessions will begin at 1:30 p. m.; evening selling beginning at 8 oclock. A number of breeders who have not offered their yearlings at auction the past few years are re-entering the sales this summer. In this category are consignments from Mereworth Farm, which will sell 32 youngsters; Hal Price Headley, P. A." B. Widener m. and E. E. Dale Shaffer, former owner of Coldstream Stud. Among regular consignors with large groups are Leslie Combs n. with 28 head, Crown Crest Farm of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Reineman, 23; the Estate of Samuel D. Riddle, 19; Nuckols Brothers Hurstland Farm, 16; Ira Drymon, 11, and Shawnee Farm and Clifford Mooers, 10 each.
