Alert at Gansett Today NARRAGANSETT PARK, Pawtucket, R. L, June 14. — A simulated atomic attack, part of a nationwide alert, will be carried out in the city of Providence Wednesday when all traffic will be stopped in the city between 2:20 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. However, at the express instructions of the civilian defense authorities, Narragansett Park will carry on its program as usual although it has been named as an evacuation center in case of a real attack, at winch time all track facilities will be made available.
