1 1 LAT0NIA TURF NOTES S : 4 Mrs. Peggy Matthews, sister of jockey Frank Burley and widow of the late jockey George Matthews, was an arrival. She will be the guest of her brother while here. Jockey Matthews died from injuries sustained in a fall at Bainbridge four years ago. Courtney Forsyth, a veteran among the jockey agents, is making the engagements for apprentice Albert Morgan, who is under contract to J. C Ellis. Forsyth also has the book of J. Marinelli. Jockey J. Marinelli was suspended five days by the Latonia stewards Saturday. He was found guilty of having piled up the field at the start in the second race while astride Ulrica. Jockeys J. Marinelli and L. Canfield, who were suspended Saturday, waived their right to ride out their engagements Monday . and obtained permission of the stewards to allow their suspensions to begin Monday.
