1 BLUE BONNETS TURF NOTES g Apprentice A. J. Harris, under contract to J. E. Hughes of Toronto, accepted the first mount of his career when he rode Dainty Bud in the third race Monday. Harris is a iative of Toronto and has been galloping horses at that point for some time. Trainer Thomas Quinlan arrived from New York with the two-year-old Harem Queen and the three-year-old Bright Flame. Both horses are the property of Mrs. Ethel Ament of New York. Army Game and Tartan Betsy, two platers, the property of Emil Seguin, arrived at Blue Bonnets from Columbus, Ohio, Monday inorning and were turned over to George Foisy to train. Two new additions to the riding colony arrived over the week-end, when E. Fator arrived from New York and G. Day from Toronto. Fator is a free lance and Day is in fhe employ of Leo Le Boeuf. The two-year-old Holly Wreath broke an oscillage and will be fired and turned out 6t training for two months. Holly Wreath is the property of N. A. Bender, a local wholesale merchant, and in charge of E. De .Guire.
