1 BELMONT PARK NOTES s Stake books for the Aqueduct spring meeting were distributed by racing secretary Campbell. The opening feature on Monday, June 10, will be the Queens County Handicap. The Carter Handicap will be run Saturday, June 15; the Brooklyn on Saturday, June 22; the Dwyer on Saturday, June 29, and the Great American, for two-year-olds, on Thursday, July 4. When Cavalcade went to his knees and unseated Gilbert in the Suburban it recalled to mind that it was the third time that injuries and accidents eliminated the Brook-meade Stable in a big race at the start. Flag Pole was ruined in the Waite starting gatAMMg in front of the grand stand in the BetayHH Last year High Quest unseated Garneaci the post in the Withers and then Cavalcade. Smith has his fingers crossed and is hoping that the cycle of three completes the injuries to his charges.
