ROYAL VIXEN improved her position steadily in the final quarter and was gaining on the leader at the finish. MAJOR GREENOCK closed with good courage. LOVE LYRIC showed a good effort. FREE AGAIN faltered under urging. ULALUME closed some ground. SENTRY raced evenly. LADY CAMELOT shpwed a good effort. . GALLANT PRINCE was outrun in the .early stages, but closed with a rush through the stretch run. NECTARINE ran in spots and came again at the end. GOLD BUCKLE showed speed from the start, but faltered under urging at the end. SQUEEZE had no mishaps. CAUGHT faltered in the stretch. MISTY HELEN was outrun. Scratched 10526 Finance, 110. BONANZA broke in motion, was rated along steadily, but quit badly in the stretch. STATESMAN II. dropped put of contention after the start and could not make up ground.
