1 ROCKINGHAM PARK NOTES Trainer Paul Sanford arrived here Monday with Miss Edith Billers three-year-old Sic Em. A. Robertson, F. Faust and J. Wagner are engaging in a bitter duel for riding honors here. At the start of the week "Robby" led with fourteen winners. . Faust placed second with thirteen, and Wagner twelve. Jockey G. Watson left here Saturday to take up riding on the Canadian circuit. W. T. "Fatty" Anderson, former owner of Furfiber and Carlaris, the sire of Furfiber is spending a few days here. Jack Ycrian, for several years starter on the Canadian circuit and who has been serving as patrol judge here, suffered a broken leg while playing baseball Sunday. The stewards conducted an investigation into the fifth race here Monday and have -instructed jockeys J. Maiden and C. Critch-field not to accept any further mounts, pending the investigation. Maiben was astride the defeated choice, Furfiber, and Critchfield rode Rough Party.
