WASHINGTON PARK NOTES . 0 Jockey Glen Haines is reported to have suffered several rib fractures and other less painful injuries in his fall from My Colin, which he rode in the Prairie State Stakes at Washington Park Saturday. Bill Owens, in charge of the jockey room at Washington Park, is leaving for Narragansett Park Tuesday or Wednesday to take up a similar position, and will be replaced at Washington Park by R. L. Boyle. Fred Crafton, clerk of the course at Aurora, was another who was preparing to leave for Narragansett Tuesday. He will also serve at the new Suffolk Downs race track in Boston. Jockey R. De Prema, recently licensed by the Illinois commission, rode his first race of the current meeting when he piloted Mansco in the opening race Monday. Another well-known veteran getting into action at the same time was J. Longden, who reported to the A. A. Baroni stable. Jockeys W. Hanka and G. Woolf returned from Latonia, where they piloted Tearout and Whiskolo into first and second places in the Latonia Derby Saturday. The D. B. Midkiff and Milky Way Farms Stables three-year-olds were back in their respective stables at the Homewood . track at an early hour Monday, the pair having left Latonia Sunday evening.
