LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS Wayne Wright broke the tie that has existed between himself and Paul Keester for the leadership of the American jockeys and took first place, piloting five winners last week, while Keester failed to win with a single mount. Wright now has ninety-six winners, while Keesters total remained at ninety-one. Eddie Arcaro, riding in brilliant form at Washington Park, scored with nine mounts to take the weeks honors, but he had a close rival in L. Turner, who scored with eight winners. Following are the records of the thirty leading American jockeys from January 1 up to and including the racing of last Sunday: Last Jockey. Mts. 1st. 2d. 3d. Unp.P.C Wk.
