PEEBLE HILL began slowly, moved up with a rush after going a quarter, saved considerable ground, but was no match for the winner. EL TOTO improved his position gradually and fmV5 ished well. The latter was prominent throughout and finished gamely. BELLE LE showed a good effort. SWEETEST HEART closed with good courage. COLONER B. B. had speed for a half mile, then, quit.
