QUICKSTEP HANDICAP WEIGHTS Plat Eye Assigned Top Weight of 123 Pounds for Latonias Saturday Headliner. LATONIA, Ky., May 26. Racing secretary William H. Shelley today announced the weights for the Quickstep Handicap, which will feature this coming Saturdays program at Latonia. Run over six furlongs, the second stakes feature of the meeting carries an added value of ,000 and is for three-year-olds and upward. Plat Eye was given the highest weight assignment by Shelley, who handicapped him at 123 pounds, while next in line is Dusty Dawn and Ariel Cross with 117, while Myrtlewoods assignment was 116 pounds.
