AZUCAR IN GOOD WORK DETROIT, Mich., May 28. Trainer Tex Wilson brought Azucar out after the fourth race and the Colonel Alger Memorial Handicap eligible, in company with the three-year-old Night Play, ran three-quarters in l:157f. and pulled up a mile in 1:43. He was timed the quarter in :2i and the half mile in AA. Trainer Wilson was well impressed with the work and stated the horse, barring a mishap, would fill his engagement in the ,000 stakes, which will feature Saturdays program.
