I BELMONT PARK NOTES $ e Jockey R. Workman stated Wednesday that his daughter, who has been a patient in a Washington hospital for the past seven weeks suffering from an infantile disease, would be discharged Saturday. Elwood Sachsenmaiers Roman Soldier was shipped to Rockingham Park tonight by Phil Reuter to fulfill a stake engagement. Balaski has been engaged to ride the horse. George Hamilton, racing secretary of the Haiti, West Indies, track, was a visitor. Frank Kearns stated that he expected a draft of replacements from the Calumet Farm .the latter part of this week. Trainer Tommy Taylor will ship Planetoid to Latonia to fulfill her engagement in the Clipsetta Stakes. Jockey C. Kurt-singer will be in the saddle. Ai G. Vanderbilt leased from the Saratoga Association, Surcingle, the former W. R. Coe private stable and training track, for the summer. Sixtyrsix stalls and a quarter-mile track are on the grounds.
