NATALIE MAE, allowed to drop back when in close quarters at the far turn, was sent through the field when improving her position and closed with a rush. HIGH BOTTOM tired. LESTER P. made "up ground. IMPERIAL BILL worked his way forward steadily, was sent to the inside for the drive and closed with a rush. ROYAL CHARM, a strong factor from the start, was forced wide entering the stretch and tired in the last eighth. JOAN D. made up ground. SHINING HOUR sprinted into a long lead during the opening three-eighths, but quit badly after relinquishing the lead. COURTNEYS PET tired after reaching contention. TOP TAX quit. LUCKY COLOR, outrun for-three-eighths, was sent to the outside in the stretch and closed with a rush. LINLACE, rushed to the lead, drew away after an eighth, but quit badly in the drive. The latter, never far back and on the outside, responded fast in the stretch and finished with a rush. PROHIBITION, unable to improve its early position; moved up fast after reaching the stretch and closed with a rush. LORD DALTON tired. BROADWAY WILD raced greenly. REELAWAY made up ground.
