APRONETTE broke fast and was hustled into a good lead in the First quarter mile, saved ground all the way, but was tiring at the end and doing her best to hold CHIMING BELLS. The latter, close up all the way, closed gamely in the stretch and was gaining on the winner. DARRAUGH, away slowly, lost ground by racing wide, closed with a rush on the outside and was going gamely at the end. CASH PLAY started from outside the gate and showed a good effort. PRINCETON took the lead on the lower turn when ELAN BEE raced wide, drew away into a good lead, but was tiring at the end and was doing his best to hold MONDE safe. MONDE, in close quarters shortly after the break, lacked racing room in the early stages, swung to the outside in the stretch and finished gamely. LADY LAURA, prominent all the way, made a game bid in the stretch, but tired ncaring the finish. TOP WAY started from outside the gate, lost ground all the way and finished gamely when straightened out. ELANBEE took the lead shortly after the start, but bolted to the outside on the lower turn. The latter, in close quarters shortly after the start, dropped back slightly, saved, ground entering the stretch and was wearing the winner down at the end. SUSIE Y., away slowly, was forced to race wide to enter contention, closed with a rusli in the final eighth and was going gamely at the end.
