TUG O WAR weaved his way through the field when improving his position, wore ALWINTOUR down in the last stages, but tired near the end. ALWINTOUR forced the pace under good urging, drew away after disposing of FAIR TIME, but tired in the last stages.- SCYTHE, prominent from the start and on the inside, was pinched back nearing the stretch, came fast when clear and tired.
