I DETROIT TURF NOTES T Charles J. McLennan, racing secretary at many of the leading tracks of the country, and starter Roy Dickerson, stopped off here en route to Chicago. McLennan and Dicker-son officiate at Arlington Park and Washington Park. Roy Deldcn, whose horses are resting at Menlo Park, is a visitor. Frank Gilpin came down from Toronto to saddle Stand Pat in the Col. Alger Memorial Handicap. Jimmy Hunter came along to ride him. McTague was slated to ride the Wolverine Handicap winner, but he was injured at Woodbine Park Friday. Apprentice Charley Parke, second leading rider of America, who was suspended for ten days for rough riding at Aurora, returns to the saddle next Wednesday. Parke is under contract to Mrs. A. M. Creech and Goldie Mitchell is making his engagements. Jockey W. Bradshaw arrived from Ohio and reported to E. E. Watson.
