FELAWAKE COLUMBUS WINNER COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 30 Felawake raced past Cerro entering the stretch and eventually won handily in the Neil House Handicap. Jane D. coming from behind, outstayed Ingle Nook and Cerro for the second honors. The mile was run in 1:39, a new track record. Favorable conditions prevailed, and the tremendous Decoration Day holiday crowd taxed the capacity of the plant. Wee Hedwig l?d throughout in the third, but Southland Lad, Brother Ben, Jay D., Carus Clarus all came from behind in the later stages to win their respective races. Jockey E. G. Miller was hit in the eye with a clod during the running of the third race, causing a hemorrhage. He cancelled his remaining engagements.
