DISQUALIFY CAREFUL KITTY OMAHA, Neb., May 30. The Ak-Sar-Ben stewards made their most important ruling of the current meeting when they disqualified Careful Kitty, an outsider which finished first in the sixth event Friday. Careful Kitty, ridden by apprentice F. Chojnacki, was set back for fouling Pat W. in the stretch, and the latter was awarded the major portion of the purse, while Careful Kitty was placed second. It was a bitter battle between the two animals all through the stretch, with Careful Kitty forcing Pat W. very wide all through the final furlong. At that, Pat W., which was undoubtedly best, finished on almost equal terms with his rival.
