fliAWTHORNE TURF NOTES E. Marvin May, former owner and breeder of .Cincinnati, is in Chicago for a short stay and found time to visit Hawthorne Saturday. The Belmont Stakes candidate, Count Morse, and several others in the main unit of Warren Wrights Calumet Farm Stable, left Hawthorne by fast express for Belmont Park Saturday. B. B. Williams, Calumet trainer, and E. Arcaro, the stables rider, left on an evening plane for Newark and Williams will supervise the unloading of Count Morse and his stable companions at Belmont Sunday morning. Count Morse is scheduled to start in a race at the New York track Tuesday. Following a beneficial rest, the veteran Gold Step, among eight Sam Gorbet shipped here from Beulah Park, is ready to resume racing. He has not been to the post since the New Orleans Fair Grounds meeting. Jockey Stuart Vail is with the Gorbet stable.
