FRANCIS DUNNE PLACING JUDG. NEW YORK, N. Y., June 5. Francis Dunne was appointed a placing judge today by The Jockey Club, according to Algernon Daingerfield. He will replace Al Burlen. Pressure of the duties as clerk of the scales was announced as the reason of Burlens replacement. Dunne served as a racing official at Chicago, New Orleans, Miami, Mex-ico and other points before coming east to serve as Jack Campbells assistant in the secretarys office.
