PLANETARIUM raced straight on the outside, responded when called upon and held CARDINALIS safe in the final drive. The latter, a forward factor from the start, was placed under pressure in the final eighth and held on well. HIGHMOST was bearing in towards the rail all through the final eighth. MATCH POINT was on the inside all the way and could not get clear passage. MANDAS BABY, under pressure, could not menace the leaders. BAFFLER followed the pace under steady restraint, moved up on the inside in the final turn of the Keld, made a bad landing at the ninth fence, recovered quickly and had speed in reserve. SABASTAPOOL" was rated under restraint the first turn of the field, moved up when called upon, came to the outside of the leader Hearing the final fence, Was carried out and then swerved to the inside after jumping and finished well. DANIE BOY was kept forwardly from the start, responded to pressure in the final eighth and outlasted JOLIE KNIGHT. The latter moved up with determination on the outside after taking the eighth fence, but hung at the end. McKINLEY B. was under restraint all during the running, but tired in the final quarter mile. OVER THE TOP raced greenly in the running and swerved repeatedly. WINNING CHANCE showed a good effort and finished in close quarters. SCENESHIFTER was blocked entering the final quarter mile. RUST was taken under restraint when outrun, improved her position rapidly on the inside rounding the far turn, and came to the outside of the winner in the final sixteenth. KATE was kept in nearest pursuit of the early pace, lost ground when carried wide, but faltered in the stretch run. LEGIONARY was close up in the first ! part and quit in the stretch run.
